2. General Information on Data Processing
We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional service and our content. Personal data is generally only processed with the user's consent or where processing is permitted by law.
3. What Data We Process
3.1 Account and Profile Data
- Email address (required for registration)
- Password (stored encrypted as a hash; never in plain text)
- Display name (optional, user-editable, max. 100 characters)
- Language preference
- Unique user identifier (UUID, system-generated)
- Registration date, last activity date
- Email verification status
3.2 Uploaded Content
- Photos you upload for AI processing (animation, enhancement, slideshow)
- Videos and enhanced photos generated by AI from your input
- Technical metadata (file size, format, resolution, duration)
3.3 Payment Data
Payments are processed exclusively via our payment service provider Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details. We only store:
- Purchase history (purchased credit package, price, date, status)
- A Stripe-issued payment ID for reference
- Billing country (for correct VAT handling)
3.4 Support Tickets
- Subject and content of your support requests
- Optional: uploaded attachments (e.g. screenshots)
- Replies from our support team
3.5 Technical Data
- IP address (only in server logs; see retention period)
- Device and operating system info (for error analysis)

5.1 International Data Transfers
Transfers to third countries (in particular the USA) are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and – where applicable – the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Retention Period
- Account data: until you delete your account
- Uploaded photos and generated content: until you delete them or close your account
- Invoice / payment data: 10 years (legal retention obligation under § 147 AO)
- Server logs (IP addresses): max. 14 days
- Support tickets: 3 years after ticket closure
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights at any time:
- Right of access to data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR) – directly via "Delete account" or by emailing us
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) – on request, we provide your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

8. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time: Profile → Delete account. Upon deletion:
- all your uploaded photos and generated content are irreversibly removed,
- your account and profile data is deleted or anonymized,
- any remaining credits are forfeited,
- invoice data is retained but blocked for 10 years for legal reasons.
9. Data Security
We use TLS encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmissions between your browser and our server. Passwords are stored exclusively as hashes (bcrypt).
10. Tracking, Advertising, Analytics
We use no tracking, no cross-site tracking, no advertising IDs, no cookies for advertising, and no third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Facebook SDK on this platform.
11. Children
Our service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it without undue delay.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy to ensure that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services. The new Privacy Policy will then apply to your subsequent visit.
